I think I derserve at least a 83 on my blog, because I have honstly not done them all, and that was me not being up to my fullest. My blog might look complete, but it is not, i need to keep working and not playing around!!

~Stars~

1. On an H-R Diagram, what is the main sequence? The main sequence on the H-R Diagram is the hottest (blue) to the coolest (red).

2. What percentage of stars are main sequence stars? 90%.

3. Is the Sun a main sequence star? Yes but it is on the colder side.

4. What will happen to the Sun next? When will this happen?

It would turn into a Red Giant! and it will hapen in the the next alot of million of years from now

STARS!!

1. Name 10 stars. Sun, Yed Posterior, Castor, Denebokab, Dubhe, Vindemiatrix, Kaffaljidma, Menkalinan, Muscida and, Zubeneschamali

2. Choose one star. Which one did you choose? I Choose the Zubeneschamali star. I chose this star because it has a really cool name, and it means Arabic for, "northern claw."

3. What kind of star is it? This star is very similar to the Sun, but it is a white star, and is the second brightest star in the constellation.

4. Are there any planets that orbit this star? Tell me about them. I dont think that any planets orbit the Zubeneschamali star.

5. What galaxy is this star a part of? It is in the Milky way.

6. How far is the star from Earth? It is 77 light-years away.

the different types of clouds!

1. List three low clouds, three middle clouds, three high clouds, and one cloud with vertical development.
_LOW_ Nimbostratus, stratocumuls, and cumulus!

2. Which clouds look the best to you? I personally think that the Cumulonimbus cloud is the best looking cloud!!!

3. What kind of weather does that type of cloud bring?

It brings thunderstorms.

Hurricanes

1.I read the article named Hurricane Ike Delays cargo for space outpost. The second artice I read about was titles Hurricane Ike Pushes sea onto Texas islands.
2.The first article was about Russian and U.S space aginces postponing the date of when their space cargo shipment will dock. The reason they had to potpone the date is because Hurricane Ike was gaining strength and Texas was evacuted.
3. The second article was about Hurricane Ike. Hurricane Ike is already posing a big threat onto Texas. 200,000 residents of Texas have evacuted from low lying areas of metro Houstan. Police offficers will be on stand by until friday night and then the people will be on their own. The military has 43 helicopters by just in case they need to do any search and rescue missions.
4.The article that was most disaterous was the second one. Hurricane Ike Pushes sea onto Texas. This is beacuse the article is saying how the Hurricane is affecting Texas.
5. Both articles talk about the effect of Hurricane Ike and people evacuating. The first article only talks about how the hurricane will affect the space center and how they had to evacuate. The second artice talks about how many people of Houstan, Texas had to evacuate.

An example of hexagonal is ikaite. An example of orthohombic is graphite. An example of monoclinic is opal. A purple flourite specimen is an cubic formed mineral. Zircon is an form of tetragonal mineral. A beryl is an example of an hexagonal mineral. An adimite is an example of an monoclinic mineral. A azurite is an example of an monoclinic mineral. A boleite is an example of a triclinic mineral. MIinerals come in all diffrent shapes, colors, and sizes

Mauna Loa

This Volcano is located in the state of Hawaii.
Mauna Loa ha not erupted. It is slow extension, as measured by GPS receivers on opposite sides of the volcano, continued. The tiltmeters have recorded no significant changes

Mass Movements!!!

A real life example of mass movement is Flows and flows are mass movements of material consisting of large amounts of water which is called mud flows. Mudflows move down slope as a thick fluid. Another is the earth flow and that is the exact opposite it is slow moving and their movement can continue for years!! Tongue like shapes occur most often on hillsides in wet regions.

Renewable resorces

My favorite renewable resource is "solar power". I like it because if you get it, it saves alot of electricity, and you don't have to pay bills for a while and they pay you!!! Even though the equipment for the solar power is expensive, if you get it and ecide to move, then you can take it along with you... The negative thing about solar power is obviously that it only works when the sun is up, and not at night time.

The Different types of projection

I would say that conic projection is the best projection of all. I like conic projection is because it allows you to look closer at cities and towns for projects and other things u ae working on. If u have any problems with finding or using a map, I would advise you to use conic map out of all maps, because it is the best one to use...

Oceanography

Do you think that Earth science is interesting? Well I do think that Earth Science is interesting and my favorite part of it is Oceanography! The thing I like about it is that the ocean can be for anything or anyone. But that is not all I like about it, scientist try their best to find all they can in the ocean but cant find it all. In the ocean there are so many animals that live in different parts and they are still finding more. When I think about the ocean I think about freedom. Why do I think of freedom? Well i think of freedom because it is big and free it is like there is no limit in it. But oceanography is the best part of Earth science or at least I think. The reason I like the ocean so much is because there is so much to learn about it and that kind of thing are interesting to me.
